For the whitetail hunter, opportunities like this are almost unheard of. This veteran outfitter controls more than 12 miles of continuous creek-bottom habitat straddling the Kansas–Nebraska line—arguably some of the most productive whitetail country in North America. With exclusive access to this border-country corridor, hunters have the ability to pursue mature bucks in two states under one outfitter, one lodge, and one seamless experience. This is a nine day archery hunt!
Long, winding stretches of Kansas creek bottom, and their Nebraska extensions create a natural travel and rut corridor that consistently produces quality bucks, with legitimate chances at truly special deer each season. By managing hunting pressure carefully, the outfitter provides an honest opportunity at a trophy-class whitetail on both sides of the border.
Elevated ladder stands and Double Bull blinds overlook high-traffic creek crossings, funnels, and bedding edges—many of which are used by only one hunter per season.
Unit 1 Kansas, has drawing odds of 100% for applicants with one preference point. The Nebraska archery tag is 100% attainable if applied for by the application deadline. Because you will need one point in Kansas this hunt must be booked over a year in advance, so early planning is essential. WTA TAGS will take care of the entire application process on your behalf. Â
With a beautiful lodge sitting only four miles from the Nebraska / Kansas border, you’re ideally positioned to hunt either state seamlessly to take advantage of the staggered rut activity and extend your season through overlapping archery dates.

Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
