Northwest BC is home to undoubtedly the finest Stone sheep hunting on the globe. These dark-bodied sheep are often considered by most to be the most attractive and difficult to obtain of the North American wild sheep. This outfitter has been guiding and hosting sheep hunters for years. Hunting these majestic rams is a passion for this outfitter. To ensure proper management, they only harvest the older age class rams this will allow for high-end trophy quality for years to come. Over the past years, shot opportunities have been very high with average rams around 37 inches. All hunts are fully guided from modern base and spike camps. This is truly one of the finest Northern BC wilderness horseback stone sheep hunts in North America. In addition to sheep, mountain caribou and mountain goat may be added on a trophy fee basis. Inclusions
1×1 guide service, tent camp accommodations, in-field transportation, and in-field trophy care of the game.
Exclusions
Gratuity, the export of trophy, charters to and from camp, and any overnight stays before or after the hunt. Early departure, subject to additional charter fees.
Transportation
Fly to Whitehorse, Yukon, and overnight at the Coast High Country Inn. The outfitter will meet the following morning and charter to camp.
Day 1: Fly to Whitehorse, Yukon and overnight.
Day 2: Charter to camp.
Day 3-12: Sheep hunt.
Day 13: Charter to Whitehorse and overnight.
Day 14: Begin your return trip home.
Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
