Max number of hunters per hunt is 3
Nov. 5-13: Arrive on 5- Depart on 13 (8 full days of hunting)
Nov. 15-23: Arrive on 15- Depart on 23 (8 full days of hunting)
This small family-run destination takes 3 hunters per hunt with a max number of hunters per season of 6. These hunts are concentrated on taking mature deer only, and that is why the outfitter runs 8 full days of hunting for each time period and only conducts 2 hunts per season. Hunts are done from box blinds, ground blinds, and the occasional ladder stand where slipping in on a big buck is necessary. Mature deer in this part of Alberta is going to be in the 150 class with top end bucks scratching the 190+.
This remote part of Alberta is home to strong deer density, lack of pressure, and a commitment to management gives hunters the ability to target that upper age class of deer. As we all know, mature deer are not an easy target, so time and patience is the correct mindset when taking an adventure like this on. If you’re a hunter that must be in deer action all day, this is not the hunt for you, but if you’re looking for an opportunity to chase upper end age class deer, this is the hunt for you!
Lodging on this hunt is individual rooms at the lodge. Home cooked meals will keep you full. If you’re looking for a great Canadian whitetail adventure with the chance at a mature dark horned monarch, this just might be the hunt for you.
