Jose Ramirez was born in Mexico City, where he has spent most of his life. He studied law at Universidad Iberoamericana.

Jose comes from a hunting family with a deep, generational passion for the outdoors. His journey began at a young age, hunting alongside his father in the mountains of the Sonoran Desert in pursuit of the “gray ghost,” the Coues deer. At just eight years old, he harvested his first deer in Cotulla, Texas, an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for hunting, particularly for whitetail deer.

While attending university, Jose worked at the law firm Santa Marina & Steta. Despite pursuing a legal career, he found himself counting down the days each year until the next hunting season.

During COVID, Jose made the decision to leave his legal career behind and fully commit to his passion for the outdoors, a defining moment and one he considers the best decision of his life.

Alongside his partner, he founded a Mexico-based deer hunting operation, starting small by leasing ranches in Northeast Mexico and hosting guided hunts. Within a few short years, they expanded operations across the country and, three years later, launched a full-service booking agency as part of the business.

Today, their outfitting operation spans over 60,000 acres and hosts hunters from around the world. They specialize in pursuing the Texan whitetail, the same subspecies that first inspired Jose’s journey and continues to drive his passion.

A few years ago, they had the privilege of hosting Mark Peterson, owner of Worldwide Trophy Adventures. What began as a successful hunt quickly developed into a strong friendship through shared experiences in the field. Following several memorable hunts, they were honored to be invited to join the Worldwide Trophy Adventures team.

Being part of such an elite group of professionals is a true honor. Jose is grateful for the opportunity and remains committed to introducing hunters to the world-class experiences Mexico has to offer.
