Mid September to end of October
The sweeping prairies of northern Montana offer one of North America’s most exclusive wild upland hunting experiences with thriving populations of Pheasants, Hungarian partridge, Sharptail, and Sage grouse. This diverse grassland habitat and expansive landscape demand skilled, big-running pointing dogs capable of covering ground and handling wild birds.
At the center of the experience is a seasoned outfitter whose decades of wingshooting expertise are matched only by the caliber of his dogs. His impeccably trained string of Brittanys, English pointers, and Labs are conditioned through hundreds of days afield each year, delivering polished, confident performances. The result is steady, hard-holding dogs, explosive flushes, and exhilarating covey rises.
The operation focuses on small groups to ensure a high-quality, personalized experience. Hunters have access to vast stretches of prairie with liberal limits across up to four different upland species: Pheasant, Hungarian partridge, Sharptail grouse, and Sage grouse.
This is classic, wide-open prairie hunting, pursuing birds in their natural environment—an experience every wingshooter should have. An incredible value for three days of pure, unforgettable wild bird hunting.
