This exciting Archery only Canadian Moose hunt takes place in the bush country north of Grande Prairie, Alberta. The area is known for producing mature bulls and offers hunters a true northern Alberta experience with a combination of spot-and-stalk hunting, calling, and strategic stand hunting when conditions dictate. The hunt takes place during the peak of the rut.
The hunting area is prime moose habitat that consists of vast stretches of timber, cut blocks, muskeg producing high shot opportunities on mature bulls often in the 40-inch-wide class and above. While it is remote northern country, the region is also active oil field territory, providing an extensive network of roads that allows access to the hunting areas.
Hunters stay in a comfortable wall tent accommodations that is accessible by vehicle, with delicious camp food provided daily providing an authentic wilderness camp atmosphere. With limited availability and a strong history of success, early reservations are recommended for those looking to experience a classic northern Alberta archery moose hunt.

Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
