2023 Opening:
Hunt trophy mature Lynx in the heart of British Columbia with one of the most seasoned outfitters in the province. The Canadian Lynx is one of the largest Lynx found in North America. A mature tom can weigh as much as 45 lbs. BC is the only province in Canada that allows sport hunting of these magnificent cats. This region of BC boasts a high density of the snowshoe hare, which is the primary food source of the lynx. Over the past years, hunters have experienced extremely high shot opportunities on mature cats. All hunts are fully guided by experienced guides and good equipment 1×1 or 2×1. Depending on hunting conditions both calling on stand and hounds are used for trailing. Cabin and lodge-based accommodations and home-cooked meals will top off each day. 1×1 or 2×1 guided hunts, accommodations, meals, in-field transportation, and in-field trophy care of the cat.
Fly to Prince George, BC; outfitter will pick up and transfer to lodge.
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
