Being born and raised on Buffalo, New York’s Lake Erie shoreline spawned Eric’s journey into everything outdoors. Later, in 2003, he accepted a job offer from Cabela’s and moved to Sidney, Nebraska, where he initiated Cabela’s TAGS – now WTA TAGS – a licensing service for obtaining high-quality limited-entry big game tags.

Eric has chased big-game all over the Rocky Mountains, Midwest and Alaska. His adventures have also led him to the most remote regions of the globe – from the Altai Mountains of Mongolia all the way to the lush jungle of the Yucatan Peninsula. His quest to hunt the European and African continents has also been part of this incredible odyssey. In 2010, Eric accomplished his three-quarter slam of North American wild sheep, and he holds a Super 10 of North American big game, thus far harvesting 17 of the required 29 species.

Since 2003, Eric has assisted thousands of sportsmen in drawing the tag-of-a-lifetime. One of his greatest feelings of pride over his 20+ year career in wildlife conservation is his assembly of TEAM WTA TAGS.
