Florida is known for having the toughest turkey of them all, the Osceola gobbler. With a home range limited to the lower third of Florida, Osceolas are one of the most difficult of the North American birds to harvest, and hunters travel from all over the country to get a crack at tagging this long-spurred tom. Our outfitter tips the odds in your favor by managing large tracts of land on private farms and ranches exclusively for the Osceola turkey, and they rotate between farms from one year to the next. By doing this, it allows hunters more opportunities to get after those more mature 3-year-old gobblers with long beards and spurs. Success rates for our clients are extremely high. Hunting is done from ground blinds on well-scouted properties. If hunting the Osceola turkey, and even alligator is on your bucket list, or if you need the Osceola to finish or start your slam, look no further. Hunts are semi-guided. Motel, meals, and license are the client’s responsibility.

Day 1: Fly to Tampa or Orlando rent a vehicle and drive to a motel of choice near hunting area in High Springs, Florida. Outfitter will supply directions.
Day 2–4: Hunt. Depart after final morning’s hunt.
Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
