The Prairie of South Western Saskatchewan is a bird hunters dream come true. Saskatchewan has become a mecca of sorts for a number of reasons, including excellent populations of Hungarian partridge and Sharp-tail grouse and fantastic waterfowl opportunities. Saskatchewan is well known for spectacular waterfowl hunting for a number of species of ducks, geese and sandhill cranes. This hunt takes place in the middle of the central flyway staging area and the waterfowl hunting is nothing short of epic. Shoots vary from pothole duck shoots to field shoots for geese. Parties are kept small, enabling you to customize your hunt and maximize your success. Since 2000, this outfitter has been operating in southwest Saskatchewan with great success. His dog team consists of Brittany Spaniels, English Pointers and a Yellow lab. This mix covers all the bases in the pointing dog breeds as both breeds bring different strengths to the table. The lab is also an asset not just with waterfowling, but with flushing upland birds. On average, these dogs spend 250 days in the field training and hunting both in Canada and the U.S. This prairie ecosystem is intermixed with wheat fields, coulees, aspen stands, slough bottoms, abandoned farmsteads and hedgerows. This all adds up to a variety of habitat that is home to some of the best wing shooting in North America. Max hunters 8.  Parties of 6 work best.

Upland hunts are done as 2 Hunters to 1 Guide with pointing dogs.

Waterfowl hunting is for ducks, geese, and cranes over water or in grain fields and shared blinds.
