Montana’s Missouri River

This lodge is located on a picturesque 160 acre property in central Montana and features over a mile of private river frontage on “America’s Longest River”, the mighty Missouri. Focusing on the water below Holter Dam, this tailwater section of the “Mo”, as locals call it, features 30 miles of fishable trout water. The insect life in this section of river is incredible and the fish show for it. Latest fish counts on this section of river show about 5,500 trout per mile that average a solid 16” with plenty of 20”+ fish. This world-class dry fly fishery has cool and constant water flows and fishes equally as well from Spring through Fall. In fact, the Spring and Fall offers some of the best fishing. The lodge offers all of the amenities of a world-class fishing lodge. Each of the thirteen guest rooms is tastefully decorated with a western flare and features a full private bath and deck or patio overlooking the river valley. The main lodge was incorporated into the 85 year old barn that is the central gathering place for guests. The second floor, once a hay loft, is the Great Room where the chef prepares delicious meals in the custom kitchen. The dining area has huge picture windows overlooking the river and surrounding mountains. The main lodge has wifi and satellite tv so you can stay connected. Relax after a day on the water by the huge stone fireplace enjoying a cold beverage. For the angler who simply can’t get enough of the great fishing, enjoy private access to the river before and after your guided day on the water.
