September – November
This veteran outfitter has been offering quality hunts in Utah for years. These hunts take place in northern Utah’s pristine Wasatch Mountains, all on large tracts of game rich private land. WTA’s employees have personally hunted here and we’ve been sending our customers here for several years with great success. The outfitters goal is for you to have the greatest hunting experience you’ve ever had. He has built a reputation of meeting the needs of his hunters and the results speak for themselves.  The ranches they hunt are large and hold a healthy population of elk, mule deer and Shiras moose. It’s not uncommon to see several elk a day including many bulls. Typical elk here are 5×5’s and 6×6’s bulls. Archery and even some rifle hunts begin in early to mid September during the bugling season and run through mid-November. The terrain varies from sage brush bottoms to mountain tops ranging in elevation from 6,500-8,500 ft. Success rate is typically 90% or better. Hunting is done by spot and stalk with cow calling during the early season hunts. Bulls are typically found in bachelor groups during the late season hunts and this can be a great time to harvest a bigger than average bull elk. Polaris rangers and 4×4’s are used during the hunt to travel to the many areas to glass for game.
