Central Brooks Range Dall Sheep

Located in the central part of the Brooks Range, 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle, this traditional, backpack style dall sheep hunt has produced some incredible trophy rams in the past. You will be flown by bush plane onto a high mountain lake to a comfortable base camp located at 3,700′. From here, sheep are often already spotted! You and your guide may hunt out of base camp or hike to an even more secluded area to some up a more primitive spike camp. There’s also the opportunity to harvest an Arctic grizzly and wolf on a trophy fee basis. Hunters must be in top physical condition as all hunting is done on foot. You should be prepared to hike approximately 2,000 feet in vertical elevation a day, while covering several miles on foot.
