This outfitter has an excellent reputation and over 20 years of experience in consistently producing beautiful trophy red stag, tahr, and chamois. Hunt the mighty red stag, elk (wapiti), fallow deer, wild boar, ram, and trophy goat on their 4,000-acre ranch where the luxury hunting lodge and chalets are located, looking out over the Pacific Ocean and bush-clad gullies. As an added bonus, excellent saltwater and river fishing is right on their back door. Tahr and chamois are hunted either with the assistance of the helicopter to gain access into the rugged peaks of the Southern Alps, or if you are up to the physical challenge of a foot alpine hunt, you can breathe cool, fresh air as you hike the mountains in what is regarded as some of New Zealand’s very best tahr and chamois country.

Relax after the day of hunting beside the open fire with a glass of New Zealand’s award-winning wine from the region and enjoy fresh, local seafood, venison, and if available, lobster as well, cooked by their in-house chef. The luxurious Glencree lodge located on the Eastern coast of the South Island features 5-star accommodations overlooking the Pacific Ocean, bush-clad mountains, and is the only one of its type in New Zealand. Luxury accommodation with four double bedrooms with private en-suite bathrooms, heated marble floors, and spacious living areas.

Non-hunters are welcome with plenty to see and do. The ranch is close to the seaside town of Kaikoura, New Zealand’s marine capitol. Whale watching, dolphin swimming, and ocean and bush walks are just a few of the options available. Hunting New Zealand is an adventure you won’t soon forget.
