With its tremendous numbers of both Florida strain and native bass, Lake El Salto has earned the enviable reputation of being Mexico’s premier trophy bass lake. It contains over 20,000 acres of perfect largemouth habitat. Initially stocked with Florida-strain bass in 1986, the lake record now stands at 16 lbs. 2 oz. This last season was our best ever, with lots of fish running from 3 to 8 lbs. and good numbers of trophy bass in the 8- to 13-lb. range, with many of the bigger fish being caught on topwater baits. Our newly completed million-dollar lakeside resort will change the way fishermen think about Mexican bass-fishing camps. First-class accommodations are now available and the meals are as good as any lodge we have ever visited. Once on the lake, clients will enjoy fishing from our fleet of 17-ft. bass boats, powered by 48hp Yamaha outboards and operated by expert guides.

Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
