It is no secret that the state of South Dakota is best known for its world class pheasant hunting. To most avid archery hunters South Dakota is the Midwest’s best kept secret for trophy whitetails. South Dakota seems to be the perfect blend of hardwoods, swamps, and rolling hills combined with mild winters, CRP programs and outstanding agricultural practices! This tremendous combination makes for a strong whitetail population creating quality deer density, but yet being vast enough to where deer can still hide and get age under their belt a bit easier then say other Midwest states. Lastly, SD archery tags are over the counter tags!  This outfitter is located in the Northeastern part of the state and has access to literally thousands acres of rolling hills, CRP, tree rows, river bottoms and agricultural fields. Their intense deer management practices have paid off and hunters are experiencing near 100% shooting opportunities on P&Y bucks ranging from 130 inches to 150 inch class deer. These 5 day hunts are conducted during the month of October through the November rut. All hunts are conducted by use of modern ground blinds and tree stands. Accommodations are a comfortable ranch house and home cooked meals are served daily. Combination pheasant hunts are also available for an additional fee. This outfitter was born and raised hunting these grounds and takes pride in giving his hunters the best customer service possible. This is a small family operation where max capacity is 4 and total number of deer hunts will span a 4 week period. Call WTA today to dig deeper into this great archery opportunity in the Dakotas!
