October- February (3 Day Hunts, 6 Total sits)
Southwest Texas is known for their premier whitetail deer hunting. This spectacular ranch sits where the Texas Hill Country, West Texas and the notorious South Texas deer country collide. The ranch has 13,500 acres of premier habitat and terrain to grow great quality deer. 6000 acres of the 13,500 are under high fence while the remaining 7500 acres are under low fence. An extensive management program including careful culling and protein feeding was implemented more than ten years ago. All hunts are guided 1:1. Bucks average 130″-145″ in the low fence and up to 180″ in the high fence.
Once a deer is harvested your guide will do and excellent job capping out your animal while keeping the meat cool in the walk-in cooler. A local meat processer can handle your meat for packaging and shipping, if desired.
Guest are accommodated in a 7,000 square foot hunting lodge that was newly built in 2010. The plush accommodations are second to none, and they are sure to please. Each bedroom boasts it own private bath and private climate control. The commercial, state-of-the art kitchen is staffed by a cook who will delight you with southwest cuisine. You will enjoy two full-course meals and multiple mid-day home-made snacks.
When it is time for a mid day break from the deer stand, enjoy playing a game of pool, shuffleboard, or shooting at the 8 station skeet range. When the hunt is done for the day enjoy sharing your stories around the out bar and fire pit. You may also relax in the 10 person hot tub.
