This action-packed combination hunt takes place on thousands of acres of private lands located in central North Dakota. Here you and your hunting partners will pursue an abundance of ringneck pheasant, sharptail grouse, and Canada geese if you choose. This combination hunt is the ultimate package for upland hunters looking to maximize their hunting experience. In addition to upland, if you choose you may also hunt Giant Canada geese during the early management season. These combo hunts are conducted during the month of September with experienced guides and well-trained dogs. Typically am hunts consist of pheasant or goose hunting in the morning and hit the native prairie grouse in the afternoon/evening. This small family operation has been hosting WTA Hunters for over 25 years. Hunters will relax in their newly constructed 5,500 square foot lodge. The outfitter offers private rooms and lodge exclusivity with groups of 6 or more. Â In addition to their first-class lodging, they have constructed a new 5-stand clay range where you can sharpen up your shooting skills. Fly to Fargo, ND. You will be met by outfitter and transfer to lodge approximately 70 minutes drive.
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
