Alberta is known for some of the best mule deer and whitetail hunting in all of Canada. This long time WTA operation of over 20 years is located in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. This region of Alberta has a healthy population of both mule deer and whitetails. This hunt offers the hunter a unique opportunity to hunt both species from one camp within close proximity. Over the years hunters have experienced very high shot opportunities on both species. Average whitetails will run 130 – 140 inches with the occasional 150+ and muleys will run 150 to 170 inches with top end bucks pushing the 180″ mark. Accommodations are a comfortable ranch house with adjacent cabins available and home-cooked meals are served. All hunts are full guided spot and stalk hunts by experienced seasoned guides. Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
