Iowa – Mecca for Giant Whitetails

Many whitetail enthusiasts consider the rich farmland of Iowa to be the pinnacle area of our country to hold a tag, and for good reason. Every year, the great state of Iowa produces some of the most impressive whitetail bucks harvested in North America. Iowa’s excellent whitetail habitat is only part of the reason this state is such a mecca for giant whitetails. The difficulty to obtain a tag also contributes to Iowa’s legendary status.
