Join WTA owner, Mark Peterson on a Russian adventure for Kamchatka snow sheep in August 2019. Kamchatka is one of the most beautiful and remote wilderness areas in the world, and the snow sheep there are among mountain hunting’s greatest prizes.
Hunting : Snow Sheep inhabit the rocky coast of Okhotsk Sea and the mountainous areas of the inland, 2500- 6000 feet/800-1800 m. Hunting is glass and stalk on foot. A hunter must be ready to walk for 5-10 miles a day. Spike camps are used if sheep are found far from the base camp. The altitude is about 6,000 feet. The terrain is not very difficult; nevertheless it offers a challenge. Long range shooting, 350-450 yards is normal. Weather is unpredictable. Snow and cold temperatures are possible in the beginning of August. In August during daylight hours the temperature is 50 to 70 ?F and during night from 32 to 50 ?F. Rainy, snowy, windy and cold temperatures are possible at the end of August and the beginning of September Average Trophy Size 34’’-37’’
Includes: Visa invitation, hunting licenses, gun import permit, hunting organization up to mentioned days and one trophy fee of mentioned species, area fees, customs clearance, transfer from/to closest airport of main destination, full board accommodation at hunting area, interpreter and local guide.

August 8 - Arrive to Moscow and Transfer to Petropavlovsk Kamchatskiy (with domestic flight) Overnight.
August 9 - Drive to hunting area and Arrive to Camp with horseback.
August 9-15 Hunt
August 16 Back to Petropavlovsk – Flight to Moscow & return home.
