Diego was born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. From a very young age, he developed a deep passion for hunting, largely inspired by his maternal grandfather, an accomplished hunter who reached major milestones, including the North American Sheep Grand Slam. Through his grandfather’s guidance, Diego not only learned outdoor skills but also gained a strong respect for nature and an understanding that ethical hunting can play an important role in conservation.
Some of Diego’s earliest memories are of time spent in the field, learning and experiencing the outdoors firsthand. By the age of five, he had harvested his first specklebelly goose, marking the beginning of a lifelong connection to hunting and wildlife.
Later, Diego pursued higher education and earned a degree in Mechatronics Engineering. During the COVID-19 pandemic, however, life took a different direction. Driven by passion and opportunity, he partnered with his best friend to launch a Mexico Outfitting business and entered the outfitting industry. What began as a bold venture quickly evolved, and within a few years, they successfully expanded the business into a booking agency.
Through strong relationships, persistence, and genuine dedication, Diego and his partner ultimately earned the opportunity to collaborate with WTA, the world’s largest booking agency. Today, he takes great pride in being part of that network and looks forward to continuing to grow, learn, and assist customers fulfil their outdoor dreams.
