My name is Mike van Bekkum. Hunting has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Raised in a hunting family, I learned the traditions and values of this passion from my father, grandfather, and uncle. Hunting is not just something I do—it is my way of life.

After selling my hospitality business, I turned my lifelong passion into a profession and began working as a professional hunter in Germany more than twenty years ago. During twelve successful years there, I gained extensive experience guiding hunters and managing hunting operations.

Five years ago, my wife and I moved to Croatia, where we continue to pursue our passion. Surrounded by some of Europe’s most beautiful hunting grounds, we specialize in big-game hunting, including brown bear, red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, chamois, and other species.

Hospitality has always been at the heart of what we do. Combining this with our hunting expertise, we strive to provide every guest with an unforgettable experience, both in the field and around the table.

Today, I also serve as a consultant for WTA. Thanks to our extensive experience in European hunting destinations, we help American hunters enjoy exceptional hunting adventures throughout Europe. At the same time, we assist European hunters in planning and experiencing their dream hunts in North America and other destinations around the world.

My mission is simple: to share my passion for hunting, provide outstanding service, and help hunters create memories that will last a lifetime. Hunting is more than a profession to me, it is tradition, adventure, respect for nature, and above all, my way of life.
