Chris Will’s life story began over 30 years ago in the tall timbers, and rolling corn fields of Southern Indiana. This place he calls home is where turkeys rattle the tree tops, and giant whitetail bucks roam the wooded forest. Even though he grew up in a town of only 1500 strong, Chris has lived in multiple states ranging from the Midwest to the West, where he currently resides.
Coming from a small town, and at a very young age, Chris learned the value of knowing right from wrong, learning how to talk, and especially when to not talk back! He has made it a point to stick to how he was raised; confident, respectful, and loving our creator.
He was introduced to hunting at the ripe old age of 5-years-old, with a trusted 410 single shot, roaming the woods with his father. It took only once and it was over! Yes, the fever began with some tall acorn trees and nutty squirrels. Since then, he has been hooked on hunting. This so called addiction has taken him to many locations nationally as well as internationally. Having acquired first-hand, an extensive and successful background in Whitetail and Turkey hunting, he has also hunted Moose, Caribou, Wolves, Elk, Bear, Antelope, Mule Deer, Mountain Lion, Javelina and other Small Game. He also holds the current SCI #14 Archery Non-Typical Elk to date.
He also enjoys other activities such as volunteering for Youth Turkey seasons as a guide, and volunteering at NWTF, SCI, NRA, and other non-profit conservation groups and organizations. In his spare time, he thoroughly enjoys shooting sports. As a matter of fact, in 2000, Chris took home the silver medal in the Grand American World Collegiate Trap Shooting Championship.
Sticking true to his roots, and aside from being blessed with the opportunity to travel the world hunting and shooting, he’ll never forget where he came from or how blessed he is. Accepting everything in life as a gift, he realizes that he has been blessed with a great life, healthy family, and great friends. Chris’s larger than life attitude, combined with what the Big Man Upstairs has blessed him with, is what drives him each and every day. Chris has lived by one quote his entire life: “Happiness is an Appreciation of Life.”
