Outfitter #256

New Zealand Tahr and Chamois hunting

Hunt tahr and chamois in New Zealand's famous Southern Alps. Our outfitter has access to prime country and offers the challenge of a foot-hunt, adrenaline rush of a heli-hunt or a combo of both. Prime hunting time is May - July when they are in their winter coats. These beautiful trophies make excellent additions to your trophy room. You may also hunt red stag in New Zealand! The red stag will be hunted from their amazing lodge close to the seaside town of Kaikoura, New Zealand's marine capital. Relax after a day hunting beside the open fire with a glass of New Zealand's award winning wine from the region and enjoy fresh, local seafood, venison and if available lobster, cooked by their in house chef. Non hunters are welcome with plenty to see and do. Whale watching, dolphin swimming, ocean and bush walks are just a few of the options available. Hunting chamois and tahr in New Zealand is a hunt you won't soon forget.
