90 Mile Wilderness Fly Fishing Float Trip

This scenic river flows through the designated wilderness area of the Togiak National Wildlife Area (TNWR). Most of Alaska's big game and bird species are common within the TNWR, during your float trip it will be possible for you to see many of them in their natural habitat. This family has spent over thirty five years developing specialized camps and raft frames for comfort and convenience. Only the best inflatable boats, tents and camping gear are used. Each raft features rowing frames with floor boards to stand on while fishing and anchoring capabilities that allow guests to fish any drift in the river.

You will be flown by a chartered float plane to an isolated lake surrounded by stately mountains. This is the beginning of a remarkable journey down a small river that has incredible numbers of Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, Dolly Varden, Grayling and all five salmon species. Your arms will be tested here each day you can fish on this trip until your arms are going to fall off! Unlike fly out lodges with schedules or locations on lakes or rivers with limited fishing, after dinner since you are camped right on the river bank and can continue to fish well into the night. The river continually grows in size and changes in character as it flows from the mountains, through the foothills and finally merges with the sea. Don't forget your Polaroid Glasses because you can see fish any time that you look over the side of the boat! When it is time to load the plane and return, you will be going home is a different person than the one that came. You will surly leave with a deeper appreciation of and respect for, the fishing experience and Alaska's vast wilderness.
