The Gila area of New Mexico has long been noted for producing giant bull elk during the archery season. Our outfitter has been offering professionally guided hunts in this area for years, using his family's ranch as a base. You are ensured to get a tough-to-draw tag because the outfitter has secured a number of landowner tags. If you have the desire to pursue trophy bulls in one of the top producing areas of the world, this is the hunt. Accommodations are a comfortable ranch house or tented camp depending on your hunt. Home-cooked meals are served daily. Early bookings are required.

Physical Requirement Level

Level 3 - These hunts are a true wilderness experience and are usually conducted on horseback, while hunting species such as elk, moose, bear; also, some mountain lion and African Cape buffalo. Difficult to extreme hiking and backpacking can be involved.
