Fly-In Saltwater Fishing Kodiak Island Alaska-Salmon/Halibut
Or Call: 1-800-346-8747
Kodiak Island is a unique wilderness fishing destination unlike any other, making this saltwater adventure for: halibut, salmon, rockfish, crab and shark - truly special. This is so much more than just another fishing trip. Whales, seals, sea lions, eagles, seabirds and porpoise are often seen making this a great adventure for friends & family. You may even see the famed Kodiak brown bear during your stay. To start, you will be flown in from Kodak City to a lodge nestled in the remoteness and splendor of Ugak Bay. The owner of this lodge and your captain, has been operating in these protected waters since 1985. The fishing here is virtually untouched and you’ll rarely see any other boats. The months of June through August are primetime for really big king salmon, and can also produce strong catches of large silvers. Also, halibut and other bottom species are a given during this three month run. Your fishing boat is a 40 foot Westport with state-of-the-art electronics, a large heated cabin and roomy head. It was made to accommodate up to 18 fishermen, so your group will have plenty of room, and stable comfort, to fish the day away. The 2,500 square-foot lodge is set in this picturesque wilderness of Kodiak and can host up to six fishermen with all the modern comforts of home. Fantastic meals and Alaskan hospitality round out this adventure, along with the processing and boxing of your catch to take home. With five full days of fishing this all comes at an exceptional value.
