$8,500

Dates:

May – June

Hunt trophy black bear with one of the WTA’s long time outfitters in the heart of Alaska. These hunts are conducted on state lands along the Tanana River. The hunting area encompasses hundreds of square miles of rolling hills, dense brush, river bottoms, lakes and streams. A portion of the hunt area is the Tok management area that has a very high population of both black bear and interior grizzly. This region has a extremely high population of color phase black bears and shot opportunites have been near 100%. Grizzly bear may also be taken on a trophy fee basis in this area however this is primarily a trophy black bear hunt and grizzly opportunites are low.

This 7-day hunt is fully guided by experienced guides. Accommodations are a comfortable cabin, and home-cooked meals are served daily. ATVs and boats will be used to access the hunt areas and baits stations. Mature grizzly bears in this region will average 7- 8′ square. Under normal conditions we expect high shot opportunities on mature bears. This hunt is very reasonably priced and availability is limited so give us a call today.
