Archery Deer
Early – Mid September
Rifle Deer
Mid-September – Early October
This camp is convenietly located on the border of the famed Region G & Region H in Western Wyoming. This experienced outfitter offers archery, crossbow (which can be used in archery season) and rifle hunts in both Regions. Hunters can expect to leave camp on horseback each morning or trailer horses to outlying trailheads and departing from there. Operating hunts in this manner allows the outfitter to disperse hunters thus reducing pressure on game when compared to hunting the same area repeatedly. The use of horses is near mandatory due to the vast expanses of roadless mountains. These hunts can also become very physical. Make sure you come prepared to handle very steep mountains as well as hikes into areas that the horses cannot access. These rugged high-alpine areas offer a true adventure as well as the chance to harvest trophy mule deer bucks that can often shatter the 180″ mark.
Camp consists of 12 large wall tents all equiped with two twin sized beds, wood floors, lighting and a wood stove. Hunters will also enjoy hot and hearty meals in an extra large seperate dining tent.
Region H licenses typically require 5 preference points to draw in the “special” and a Region G licenses typically takes around 9 preference points to draw in the “special” to guarantee a draw.
