Join WTA’s Tim Herald and a small group on a WTA hosted trip in May of 2020 for a brown bear hunt of a lifetime. This can be done as an 8 or a 10-day hunt (your choice), 1x1 guided, and best of all, it is discounted by $4000 because of a cancellation. You will not find a better deal than this on a hunt of this quality.
Our WTA group went 100% in 2016, and one hunter took a true 11-foot giant that was the 2ndlargest trophy taken in Alaska that year. In Spring 2018, the outfitter went. 100% on these ground based hunts– with 7 Bears (50% of their allotment )making the B&C record book. This is a serious hunt for seriously big bears. Spring hunts are every other year on the AK Peninsula.
You will start off in Anchorage and then fly down to Perryville on the southern part of the Peninsula where you will be picked up by the outfitter and flown to camp. There is a very nice base camp, and hunting camps may be small cabins or tents. Hunts may utilize boats, argos or ATVs. for more details.
