Outfitter #127

Alberta Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep Hunting

This trophy Alberta bighorn sheep hunt takes place in the remote Canadian Rockies of Alberta. The hunt area is vast and rugged and encompasses over 750 square miles of mountain peaks, rivers, streams and canyons. The resident sheep population in this hunt area is very good with good numbers of legal rams annually. The hunt area has limited access with no roads and hunters will horseback deep into the heart of the hunting area. Once in sheep country, you and your experienced guide will continue as a backpack hunt which is the most efficient way to hunt the rugged terrain. This will gives the hunter the ability to move and camp at will, putting you in the best positions to spot sheep during high activity times. Having a wrangler/packer included in your hunt will maximize the efficiency of your hunt. This small scale outfitter offers a limited number of  exclusive high quality sheep hunts per year. Shot opportunities have been extremely high on trophy rams. That being said, this is one of the toughest sheep hunts in North America and hunters need to be in good physical shape as this will significantly increase odds of success.
