Trout Fishing in the Canadian Rockies

Come experience some of the finest trout fishing in North America. Southeast British Columbia and southern Alberta offer fantastic trout fishing opportunities on blue-ribbon rivers like the Bow, Elk, Crowsnest, Waterton, and Castle. The majority of the fishing is a five minute to one hour drive from the lodge, which is located on the banks of the Oldman. Big browns, rainbows, and some of the best cutthroat fishing on the planet awaits you. You can also take advantage of the lodge's three miles of private access water after your guided day on the water. It's a short drive to B.C.'s magnificent Elk River near Fernie. The Elk is widely considered the most consistent dry-fly fishery in North America. Guided walk and wade trips are available on the Crowsnest river. Then, there's Alberta's legendary Bow river, a must do if you're flying in and out of Calgary. The comfortable and rustic guest cabins all have showers, toilets and two queen-sized beds. The cabins are in close proximity to the main buildings, including the 'notorious' Western Saloon, with its swingin' doors, player piano, well-stocked bar, satellite TV and wireless Internet.
