Iowa Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunting Guide
The fertile farmland of southern Iowa has long been known as the mecca for giant midwest whitetails. This outfitter has implemented a strict management practice and hunters should have opportunities at bucks that meet the outfitters' 140" minimum. By utilizing food plots and trail cameras, they put in the time and effort to give you the absolute best chance to harvest a trophy whitetail. This includes discussing aerial photos, having multiple stands for every wind direction, targeting bucks on trail camera, keeping farms fresh, only hunting when the wind is right. Approximate License & Tag(s) Cost
$400 approx. To obtain a deer license in Iowa, you must apply in a draw. WTA TAGS can assist with the paperwork for a small fee. The deadline to apply in early June. It typically takes three to draw an archery tag and one or two years to draw a gun tag.
Physical Requirement Level
