Outfitter # 126

Guided Wyoming Whitetail Outfitter

You will not believe the volume of whitetail deer and wildlife seen on this hunt. We visited this operation and were amazed at the number of deer seemingly seen everywhere. The outfitter leases a couple dozen parcels for whitetail deer, and it is not uncommon to see 50 deer from a stand location. The outfitter has been managing many of these parcels for 12 or more years. Average quality of harvested whitetail is 120-140" with the upper end buck taken off these leases 180+. Past opportunity for harvest has been 100%.

You can sit all day if you want, but normally the outfitter recommends morning and evening hunts with a break in between where you return to the comfortable, centrally located lodge to relax for a few hours. Although Wyoming weather is unpredictable, most of the time the weather is mild and the time in stand is not grueling like some stand hunts. There are Double Bull ground blinds, ladder stands and tree stands.

The season is long (October 1 - November 30) and can accommodate most anyone's schedule. The trip is 5 full hunting days with 6 nights. All lodging and food is included, and the lodge has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, i.e. washer/dryer, big screen TV, bedding and towels, telephone, etc. Airport pickup in Sheridan, Wyoming is included, and the lodge is located 10 miles South of the airport. No bait is used and deer are hunted on their travel patterns and on natural feed. Given the quality deer management program and sheer volume of deer on these ranches, each hunter is encouraged to take a couple of does each on this hunt at no extra cost other than the license.
