Kansas World-Class Whitetails
Copy below written by WTA TAGS Manager – Eric Pawlak
I was recently asked, by a high ranking Cabela’s executive, what I was most proud of during my tenure here at WTA TAGS. This question was posed on-the-spot and, to tell you the truth, I can’t even remember my answer. However, after having had time to reflect, the answer I would give today might be,
“Discovering probably the very best fair chase whitetail destination in North America for the good clients of WTA TAGS.”
I know this is a bold statement, but I’ve been around-the-block in the booking business and I can tell you, without a doubt in my mind, this whitetail outfitter located in southcentral, Kansas really has something special going on. WTA TAGS’ clients have harvested many world-class deer over the years from this camp – 170’s, 180’s, 190’s, 200’+ … bucks in each category have been taken. There is typically not more than 2 hunters on this 1,500 acre property per hunt. For the serious whitetail hunter, this could be your best chance for a “net booner.” In fact every year, as the Kansas deer season approaches, the talk around the WTA TAGS watercooler usually goes something like this,
“I wonder what the Doc’s place is going to push out this year.
“Another giant I suppose.”
Producing big whitetails in the Midwest is no secret – keep the pressure down, throw the food to them and let them grow-up. I haven’t found anybody that does it better. Give WTA TAGS a call today and let’s talk whitetails 1-800-755-TAGS(8247).
