September: Archery and muzzleloader season
October & November: Rifle season
This 14,000 acre, contiguous, private ranch is located in one of Colorado’s sleeper elk areas conveniently located just northwest of Fort Collins, Colorado. The ranch is mild and composed of large, rolling hills that are primarily covered in large sage and brush with pocketed stands of trees and boulder piles. The ranch does have a road system they can be traveled by pickup and UTV making it ideal for hunters that simply do not get around like they used too.
Archery, muzzleloader, and rifle hunts are offered. Hunt style will vary dependent on season and weapon choice. During the month of September a mixture of calling, spot & stalk and sitting over known travel routes will be utilized. The rifle hunts will be conducted almost exclusively utilizing spot & stalk techniques. Opportunity rates have been at or near 90%+ over the last three years regardless of weapon choice. An extremely limited quantity of elk/mule deer combination hunts are available each year during the third rifle season.
