November (6-day hunts)
Hunt trophy class Muley’s in North Central Alberta with one of WTA’s long time Outfitters. This Outfitter recently acquired 4 coveted trophy mule deer allocations that are now available to WTA customers. This small family run operation has been successfully outfitting hunters for over 35 years with outstanding hunt reports. All hunts are conducted on thousands of acres of private lands by experienced guides who know the land and trophy deer. This region of Alberta has very low resident pressure. Being located in a rich agricultural region with good proven genetics, only enhances the the trophy quality. Hunters can expect high shot opportunities on trophy class bucks ranging from 170 inches to over 190” with the outfitter target being 180 plus B&C. All hunts are fully guided 1×1 by experienced guides utilizing good equipment. You and your guide will spend a great deal of time glassing many areas until a trophy is spotted. In 2018, WTA had two customers on this mule deer hunt and they both were successful. Bucks harvested were in the mid 180’s and the other pushing 190’s with kickers, two trophy Alberta Muley’s.
Accommodations on this hunt are cabins located adjacent the main lodge. The main lodge has all the amenities of home. Home cooked meals are served daily, you will not go hungry. All in all, true proven Trophy Class Mule Deer hunts are tough to find at a reasonable price. If you’re looking to hunt Giant Mule Deer, I would highly recommend giving this outfitter a shot. The pictures and reports speak for themselves.
