This seasoned outfitter has been hosting trips for Arizona elk hunters for over 30 years. His incredible track record and professional team have been taking some of the best elk in the state for many years. He only hunts in Unit 1 and has proven over the years that he is one of the top outfits in the state. This unit has consitently produces bulls in the 310-350 range with some even larger taken each year. The hunting style will be to cover ground, and you will be glassing the different area’s of the unit with some of the best spotters in the business. Once a bull is located you will move in on foot and calling tactics will be used during the archery hunts, while spot and stalk will be the name of the game during the rifle seasons. These hunts will take place out of wall tent accomadations with wood burning stoves and cots provided in each tent. All of your meals will also be prepared and served by a designated cook that will make sure the coffee is hot in the morning and your dinners will be prepared fresh every night. Hunt Style

Physical Level:

Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.

Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.

Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.

Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
