The state of Arizona is famous for its outstanding scenery, excellent climate and of course, the Grand Canyon. In wingshooting circles, Arizona is also known for great desert quail hunting and is a go-to destination once winter roles into other locations or seasons. Arizona offers wingshooters the opportunity to pursue three species of quail: Gambels, Mearns and Scaled quail. On top of great Arizona quail hunting, there can be awesome late-season hunting for mourning doves along with duck hunting via jump shooting tanks. This outfitter lives and works out of Patagonia, AZ, located in the southeast corner of Arizona. They are surrounded by the Coronado National Forest, home to the best Mearns quail hunting in the United States and the world. Gambels and Scaled quail hunting opportunities can be found a short distance away in the plentiful grassland savannahs and mesquite-lined washes that these quails call home. #183

Transportation
Fly to Tuscon, AZ and rent a vehicle. The hunting grounds are approx. 70 miles southeast of Tuscon.
Sample Itinerary
(Based on a three day hunt)
Day 1: Fly to Tuscon, AZ rent a vehicle and drive to hunting grounds.
Days 2-4: Hunt.
Day 5: Begin your return trip home.
Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
