October- December
This unique hunting experience will take place in Austria, a convenient 2-hour drive away from the Vienna Airport. This is the perfect opportunity for the hunter that has seen driven boar shoots, but is curious. This challenging hunt takes place in high stands, in a hunting area of around 2,000 acres. Hunters will be joined on the stand by a professional hunter who will assist in locating and tracking the oncoming game. Two lines of around 15 beaters each will criss cross the rolling forest causing game to scatter. These “beaters” are dressed in hunter orange and can be heard hollering from afar, which means that their safety is ensured.
This introductory experience includes the trophy fee for one of the massive wild boars that roam the dense forest, as well as three 50–100 pound wild boar. The hunt and accommodations feature many unique traditions that date back 100s of years.
