Spring – May/June
Fall – August
(fishing only available in the Fall)
This is an opportunity to hunt baited black bears or brown bears in one of Alaska’s most stunning locations – The Alaska Range, near Mt. Spur and the Triumvirate Glacier. This veteran outfitter has a solid track record of producing 6’+ bears and 8″+ brown bears for his clients. The fact that he is hunting private Native Corporation land, his baiting techniques, and the use of cameras, has helped ensure a near 100% success rate on at least one black bear for many years. After arriving in Anchorage you will overnight. The next morning you will be transported, about 40 minutes via Beaver aircraft, to the hunt area and begin hunting that evening (the charter fee is included in the trip price). You will then hunt four more days (on black bear hunts) and eight more days (on brown bear hunts) plus the morning of the last day, if needed, before heading back. You will access the area and the bait sites via boat. The spring black bear hunts include two bears (no fishing). The fall black bear hunts include one bear and incredible fishing for Silver salmon from 18 foot skiffs. Some fishing equipment is available at camp or you can bring your own. The Brown bear hunt is a spring hunt only for one bear (no fishing). Accommodations consist of very nice private cabins. The food is plentiful and very tasty. Early booking is essential for this incredible Alaskan adventure.
