Late May – First week in July
2026 availability
May 12-20
June 11-18
This is a high-success, fully guided baited bear hunt in Alaska, offering exceptional opportunities to harvest both a brown bear and a black bear. Hunts are available for both rifle and archery hunters. The season runs during the prime spring window, beginning in late May and extending through the first week of July.
Hunters will fly into Anchorage and stay overnight. The following morning, you’ll meet your outfitter and board a charter flight directly to camp, where the hunt begins. All charter flights from Anchorage to camp are included in the hunt price.
The outfitter limits each hunt to a maximum of two hunters who know each other and conducts only one hunt at a time. This ensures personalized, one-on-one attention and a highly focused hunting experience. All bait sites are accessed by aircraft, with no hiking or backpacking required, making this hunt suitable for hunters of varying physical abilities.
These active bait sites attract consistent activity from both brown and black bears. Hunters may add a black bear to their trip for a very reasonable trophy fee. The hunt is also exceptionally well suited for archery hunters. Ground blinds are positioned within a few hundred yards of the bait sites, and once a bear commits to the bait, the hunter and guide will stalk to well within bow range—adding an extra level of excitement and challenge to an already thrilling hunt.
