September through May
The Mallorcan wild goat or Balearean Boc is the only hunting species of the island of Mallorca de Palma. This island is the only destination in the world where this rare trophy can be hunted. The Balearean Boc was released on the island of Mallorca by the Phoenicians in about 2000 BC as a food source. They have florished and their numbers are very high. Our outfitters hunting area is in the Sierra de Tramuntana Mountains. This rare and beautiful animal is hunted from September through May. Access to the island can be made from most airports in Spain, and the lodging in the coastal resorts makes this truly a remarkable experience. Safari Club International now recognizes this unique trophy and has added it to many of their record book programs. While there, you may also hunt for the numerous feral goats on the island. This is truly a beautiful place to hunt one of the newest and most coveted species in Spain. The hunt will include 2 days of hunting for your trophy Boc, two feral goats (Bronze or Silver medal) or two Boc trophies with abnormal horns.
