Year Round
2 For 1 Special: Book any single occupancy/single guide package between August 15 – December 15, 2021 and bring another angler FREE! To qualify for a Grand Slam in the saltwater flats fishing world, an angler must successfully land a bonefish, tarpon, and permit in the same day. Statistics have proven that there is no better place in the world than the rich waters of Belize. This operation not only caters to the ardent angler, but to non-fishing companions and their families as well. Located on Ambergris Cay and surrounded by the second largest barrier reef in the world, this facility offers even the most novice anglers realistic opportunities at vast schools of bonefish, tarpon, permit, and other saltwater species . You’ll fish from pangas with local, English speaking guides who are familiar with the waters surrounding the lodge. Bonefish are abundant, and at times, can be seen by the thousands tailing on one of the many nearby flats. Bonefish average 1-3 lbs., but larger fish are caught everyday. Tarpon can be found year-round on the flats and vary in size from baby tarpon (5-10 pounds) to larger tarpon in the triple digits. Permit can be found just about anywhere, and often in small schools. They’ll average 8-10 lbs. with larger fish a definite possibility, but remember these are permit, and are considered the ultimite feat, especially on a fly rod. Non-fishing activities include visiting the Mayan Ruins, excellent snorkeling and diving, eco-tours, or simple relaxing by the pool. The small town of San Pedro is a short stroll away and offers some nightlife and shopping. The main lodge consists of 14 air-conditioned guest rooms with private bath and a verandah overlooking the beach and barrier reef. Private villas are also available if you wish to upgrade your accommodations. Meals are epicurean delights, and the intimate, well-stocked bar always has fresh-fruit rum punch. Call us today to reserve your spot at this Caribbean paradise. M839
