March – November
Botswana is one of the most beautiful countries in all of Africa with the Okavango Delta spanning an area of over 7,000 square miles along with the world famous Kalahari Desert. Your quest will take place adjacent to the Northern reaches of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve on an exclusive 148,000-acre continuous private concession. Rifle hunting is done by spot and stalking and checking water holes for fresh tracks to follow using the finely honed skills of the Bushman trackers. Bow hunters are also welcome and guided by a fellow bow-hunter using key blinds over water points and spot-stalk.
This adventure is for the sportsman who wants to hunt unspoiled wild Africa for a wide assortment of native plains game. From the Livingstone Eland, Southern Greater kudu, gemsbuck down to the diminutive steenbuck and jackal. Recent game counts confirm not only quality trophy class game but healthy herds of all species. Since 2010 they have taken several kudu over 60″ with the largest touching 64″, 4 eland measuring 42″+. and the largest gemsbuck measuring an amazing 46″. Game counts run 2,000+ kudu, 2,000+ blue wildebeest, 1,500+ gemsbuck and 1,300+ eland.
All three of the big cats roam through this concession, and it is not uncommon to see lion and cheetah with a few lucky hunters even spotting the secretive leopard during daylight hours. The quality of outfitting along with the vast experience of the professional hunters, strict attention to detail is your assurances of an unforgettable safari into the remote and unspoiled tracts of Botswana. This 3-star camp features private thatched roof chalets with en suite baths, central lounge, swimming pool, dining room and outdoor bar. Right at the lodge is a water hole they do not hunt and you will see game right in camp. You not only get the opportunity to take great trophies, but you get a true international hunting experience.
Non-hunters will be very comfortable and welcome to go afield as much or little as they like. Lunch can be planned under the shade Camel thorn tree or in the comfort of camp. All of these hunts are strictly limited, so early bookings are required to secure on of the few permits available.
