Enjoy the scenic beauty of Northwest British Columbia. The north coast of BC is renowned for its breath-taking, ice-capped mountains, salmon-filled rivers, and most importantly its black bears. This vast hunting territory is located south of the Alaskan border. The area is composed of a vast network of logging roads and pristine glacial rivers that showcase this area’s beauty. Hunts are conducted by the spot and stalk method. Experienced guides and modern equipment will assure a pleasurable experience. This destination produces some of the largest Black Bears in North America primarily due to the abundance of rivers and streams loaded with protein-rich fish. Over the past several years it is not uncommon for this outfitter to average 6 1/2 to over 7′ square on mature Black Bears. This region of BC has a good population of Black Bear as it is located in a remote part of the province and there is little to no hunting pressure. Fly Vancouver BC, with a connecting flight to Terrace BC. Upon arrival in Terrace, outfitter will meet and transfer to hotel and overnight. The following morning you will depart for lodge and begin your hunt.

Day 2 – 6: Hunt
Day 7:Â Return to Terrace for return flight home.
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
