September 10-21
This trophy moose and grizzly area is north of the Arctic Circle in the foothills of the Brooks Range. This region of Alaska is home to an excellent population of Alaska-Yukon moose and Arctic grizzlies. This Master Guide/Outfitter has a great track record of offering quality hunts with a high success rate. The area is unique in that it shares a prodigious population of huge Alaskan moose with a considerable number of Arctic grizzlies, black bears and wolves. The river valley here acts as a natural funnel during the September rut. Past hunters have experienced a very high success rate on bulls ranging from 55″ to 65″ wide with a solid 60″ average over the years, including a few Boone and Crockett bulls. Grizzlies in this area typically range from 7-8′ and vary in coloration from blonde to dark chocolate. The outfitter only takes a few hunters each season to assure everyone has a good opportunity at coming home with a trophy and experiencing a hunt- of-a-lifetime. The two hunters from 2018 both harvested incredible trophies!
