Dagestan Tur, can be found in the Eastern part of the Caucasus mountains. Since couple of years we have opened the new spot for this hunt in the Russian Republic of Dagestan this name is originally given to this kind of Tur. The hunting area is right along at the border of Azerbaijan Republic where the biggest Dagestan Tur have been shot in all those past years since the hunt for the foreign hunters there have been open. We are here just 10 miles away from the famous Sheki area. Average trophy can be expected here is 35” (about 89 cm) with some trophies up to 41” (103 cm).

Accommodations
Tented Camp
Base camp is a little heated cabin and tented camp with simple conditions located at 6,000 feet (2,000 m). A good skilled staff makes you feel comfortable.
Nights Spent in Spike Camps will also be utilized.
Transportation
Day 1 Arrival in Moscow, customs formalities, connection flight to Makhachkala, transfer by car about 7 hours to Khnov vil-lage, overnight at the house of the game keeper
Day 2 3 hours horseback ride to the base camp, beginning of the hunt
Day 3-7 5 day hunt
Day 8 Return to Makhachkala, flight back to Moscow
Day 9 Overnight at the hotel (if need), departure back home
Additional Info
Please be aware:
-Wounded and lost animal is to be paid completely.
-Hunt is done as soon as you get your trophy.
-If you need to change tickets in case of early finish of the hunt or of extension of the hunt you should also change tickets for your guide-interpreter
Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
