If you are looking for a super affordable yet high quality hunt for North America’s fastest land animal look no further. Having approximately 50,000 acres to play with makes this hunt an easy choice when looking to notch your tag on a quality Pronghorn! This is a hotel based hunt where you pay for your own meals and lodging.  The guide will pick you up each morning for your daily hunt. They will provide a cooler lunch in the field during the day.  Unit 9 and 87 have healthy populations of antelope, trophy quality here will range from the low 70’s to 80″. The draw for non-residents typically requires 5 preference points in 87 and 1-2  preference points in 9. On occasion there may be landowner vouchers available that will be signed over to the hunter directly from the landowner (call for availability).

Day 1: Travel from home to the Days Inn located in Wellington, CO. Please make hotel reservations well in advance of your trip. If flying you will need to arrive into Denver, CO. where you will rent a vehicle and drive to the hotel (approx. 2 hours). Please arrive prior to 8:00 P.M. You will meet with your guide this evening for a meeting to make a game plan for the following days hunt.


Day 2-4: Hunting days. Expect to be in the field all day, please pack any needed items in your day pack including medications. Continental breakfast is available at the hotel and lunch/drinks will be provided in the field.


Day 5: Travel from the hotel to home.

Hunt Style

Physical Level:

Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.

Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.

Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.

Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
